I do love Friday’s, not only is it the end of the working week, it’s the beginning of the weekend and I love me some weekend. Getting to spend 2 whole days with my favourite people in the whole world.
Because I love Friday’s so much, I thought I’d link up with some of my favourite bloggers of all time.
I will do a separate post about my favourite bloggers but today this post is all about my Friday Favourites.
Although I’m trying lose a bit of weight by following the Slimming World plan, I do love eating out, so I organised an impromptu dinner date with my 2 favourite girls, my daughter and my sister at Nandos, I chose a dish which fit in perfectly with the plan and didn’t go over my daily syns #winwinsituation.
I was a terrible daughter this week and had forgotten my step-mums birthday, I remembered the next day and rushed out after work to buy her the biggest bunch of flowers I could find. While I was waiting for them to be wrapped I thought Erin deserved a little flower of her own. She is such a caring little soul, she does well at school and she is a terrific friend. Yesterday I picked her up from her after school Glee club and surprised her with this.
I got this idea from one of my favourite blogs, of course my pictures are nothing on hers, so please pop over and see what it’s all about. I love crafting and Erin does too, so we decided to have a Family Book/Craft afternoon after reading about what Andrea had created for her gorgeous little family, I mean she includes resources and everything, she really is a Super Star. We even managed to get Damian to join in and he really enjoyed himself too. I’d like to incorporate a lot more of these into our weekends and will post about them here.
Last but by no means least, I’d like to draw your attention to this gorgeous creature I’m holding, I love owls, they are my favourite animal. Michael and I were looking at possible days out for the whole family to enjoy when he came across a small farm called Manor Farm in East Leake which among other animals, has it’s own owl sanctuary where you can hold lots of different owls for a small donation which goes towards funding the sanctuary. I mean how cute are they!
That pretty much sums up my favourites this week, I hope you’ve enjoyed them, please pop over and read some more Friday Favourites, or how about linking up to your own, please leave me a message so I can read yours.
Happy Friday all x
